Cemetery Management

The Shire of Beverley is responsible for maintaining the cemeteries in the town site and work with local funeral directors and families for cemetery-related services including burial and cremated remains interments; and Ordering and placement of plaques.

We now have digital records for two of our cemeteries, the Anglican Cemetery and the Catholic & Uniting Cemetery. These include drone aerial surveying to create high resolution images of each of our cemeteries. Families and friends can now conduct historical enquiries in our live database to access real-time cemetery information. Please click here to access Chronicle, the cemetery search platform, to find and view the cemetery you are looking for. Chronicle helps you locate the cemetery, as well as individual graves.

For all our queries relating to funerals or burials at one our cemeteries, please contact Shire staff of 9646 1200, however it should be noted that the Funeral Home of your choosing will contact us with the information you have provided to them and arrangements will be organised on your behalf. The funeral director will assist with all forms and fees, which will be included in the funeral home expense and paid to the Shire on your behalf.
